Bathshack Announces Charity Partnership with Noah’s Story

Bathshack is proud to announce its second charity partnership with Noah’s Story, a Northern Ireland charity dedicated to supporting families experiencing bereavement and improving compassionate care within hospital settings.

Founded by Corrina and Johnny McAleese in loving memory of their son Noah, the charity was created following the tragic loss of the two-year-old in a farming accident in November 2022. In the face of unimaginable grief, Noah’s family chose to transform their loss into a mission to support other families during the most difficult moments of their lives.

Through fundraising, advocacy and partnership with healthcare services, Noah’s Story works to ensure that families facing bereavement are met with compassion, dignity and understanding.

A Lasting Legacy for Noah

One of the charity’s most significant achievements to date is the creation of the “Infinity Room” at Causeway Hospital’s Emergency Department. Developed in collaboration with the Northern Health and Social Care Trust, the dedicated bereavement space provides a calm, private environment where families can spend precious time together during life’s most heartbreaking moments.

Named in honour of Noah’s love of Toy Story, the room represents both a tribute to a little boy deeply loved by his family and a meaningful step forward in improving how bereavement care is provided across Northern Ireland.

The charity’s wider mission is to create similar spaces in hospitals across the region while also supporting trauma-informed training for healthcare professionals, helping them provide the best possible care to families experiencing sudden loss.
