Skirting is essentially a board that runs along the border on interior and exterior walls. Although a simple product, floor skirting serves several purposes. Recent printing technologies allow laminate skirting to feature all the subtle cracks, knots and veining that is seen in real wood for a look that is timeless and stylish all at once. Laminate skirting thus provides all the aesthetic benefits of real wood, but without the difficult upkeep.
