Free Tile Samples

Choosing tiles from a screen is tricky. Colours shift with lighting, and finishes and textures are hard to judge in a photo. That’s why we offer free tile samples, so you can see and feel them in your own home before you buy.

Free tile samples at a glance

You can order up to 3 different tile samples free of charge, and samples are available to customers in Northern Ireland, GB and the Republic of Ireland. Just click “Order sample” on any tile page that offers one and add it to your basket. Samples can be ordered on their own, with no need to buy anything else. We aim to dispatch samples the next working day, and they should arrive within 48–72 hours. Samples are yours to keep, so there’s no need to send them back.

How to order a tile sample

1. Find your tile. Browse our tiles and open the product page for the tile you like.
2. Click “Order sample”. If a sample is available, you’ll see an “Order sample” button on the page. This adds the sample to your basket.
3. Choose up to 3. Add up to 3 different tile samples, free of charge. There’s a limit of 3 free samples per customer.
4. Check out. Complete your order as normal. You can order samples on their own or alongside other products.

Is a sample available for every tile?

Not every tile is available as a sample. If there’s no “Order sample” button on the tile’s product page, we’re unfortunately unable to offer a sample of that tile. Our team can still help you with photos, specifications or advice on similar tiles that do have samples available.

When will my samples arrive?

We aim to dispatch tile samples the next working day, and they should be with you within 48–72 hours.

Do I need to return my samples?

No. Tile samples are free, so they’re yours to keep. We don’t accept returns on samples.

Getting the most from your samples

• Check them in your own light. Look at your samples in the room they’re going in, in daylight and with the lights on in the evening. Colours and finishes can look very different.
• Put them next to your fixtures. Hold samples against your bath, basin, vanity unit or flooring to see how everything works together.
• Think about grout. Grout colour changes the overall look of a tiled wall or floor, so picture how a lighter or darker grout would sit with your tile.
• Order for the whole room. If you’re choosing wall and floor tiles, order samples of both so you can see them side by side.
